Hartgraves has played a key role in the formal relationship between JKU and Emory that began in 1983.
A member of the Goizueta Business School faculty since 1980, Hartgraves has served as Acting Dean, Senior Associate Dean, and Assistant Dean and Director of MBA Programs. He has been a Guest Professor on several occasions at the Helsinki School of Business and Economics in Helsinki, Finland and JKU, where he is also an honorary member of the faculty.
“I am honored and humbled to have been included in this elite group,” Hartgraves said in a press release. “The honorary degree is seen as a sign of a very successful collaboration between the [Austrian Business School] and Emory… “
Goizueta recently extended its relationship with JKU ensuring more students and faculty will have access to a truly global business education in the future. The agreement, which started as an informal exchange program in 1981, includes a summer internship program for MBA and BBA students.
