Andrea Hershatter, dean of the undergraduate program at Goizueta Business School, sat down with Poets & Quants for Undergrads for an exclusive interview. In the discussion, Hershatter talks about the award-winning and top-10 ranked BBA program, her career and the future of business education.

About Hershatter

Andrea Hershatter is Senior Associate Dean and Director of the BBA Program in Emory’s Goizueta Business School.  She has led this program for the last fifteen years and has helped to achieve its seventh consecutive BusinessWeek ranking in the Top 10 (five in the top 5) among undergraduate business programs. Three of the most recent programmatic initiatives she led are the creation of three joint concentrations with Emory College, the development of a multi-dimensional holistic leadership co-curriculum, and the total revision of the undergraduate Business Communications core course. Andrea holds a faculty position in the Organization and Management area, where she teaches entrepreneurship, a course she has also taught as a visiting faculty member in the Helsinki School of Economics.
