The Executive MBA program at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School has once again been recognized among the nation’s top programs, ranking No. 14 in the U.S. and No. 1 in Georgia according to the Financial Times.

The recognition reflects the strength of Goizueta’s Executive MBA program and the accomplished professionals it serves. Students enter the program with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and an average of 15 years, bringing together executives from leading organizations and diverse industries to create an experience that matches the caliber of their careers.

“Goizueta’s Executive MBA is designed for leaders who are ready to expand what they can do and how they lead,” says Jackie Conner, associate dean of the Executive and Evening MBA programs. “Our students come to the program with significant experience and leadership responsibility. We build on that foundation through rigorous business education, personalized executive coaching, and an accomplished peer community that challenges their thinking and expands their perspective. The goal is not simply another credential—it’s preparing leaders to lead at greater scale.”

Students learn alongside leaders from industries including consumer packaged goods, healthcare, technology, consulting, and financial services, as well as professionals from Fortune 500 companies, national and local nonprofits, and entrepreneurial ventures. Their diverse experiences become part of the education, bringing new perspectives, connections, and possibilities into every classroom.

Personalized executive coaching is central to the Goizueta EMBA experience. Students work with coaches to strengthen executive presence, confidence, influence, and their ability to lead across functions and organizations. “At this stage of a career, growth requires more than learning another set of skills,” says Conner. “It’s about developing the perspective and influence to see the enterprise differently, lead through complexity, and prepare for what’s next.”

The program is also designed to accommodate the demands of working professionals. Students can choose from on-campus, hybrid, or fully online formats, providing flexibility while maintaining the rigor of the Goizueta experience. Dedicated program staff support students throughout the program, managing course materials, meals, scheduling, and other day-to-day logistics so students can focus on learning, connecting, and leading.

The impact of that experience is reflected in the career outcomes of Goizueta EMBA graduates, who report an average salary increase of 52% three years after completing the program.

“At Goizueta, we believe your experience should match the level you’ve reached in your career,” says Conner. “Our Executive MBA gives accomplished leaders the network, perspective, development, and experience to take that next step—and to lead at a greater level.”

The Financial Times ranking considers factors including career progress, student and faculty diversity, faculty research, and a school’s commitment to ethical, social, and environmental responsibility. The full rankings, sub-rankings, and methodology are available on the Financial Times website.
