Alumni, current students, faculty and staff gathered Nov. 2 at one of the most famous locations in New York — The New York Stock Exchange.

Goizueta hosts an event on the floor of the historic building each year, reserving space after the final bell so alums from all programs and years can discuss memories and future endeavors. Senior Director of Alumni Relations, Samantha Renfro, said the event at NYSE Euronext is a favorite for all parties.

“This event has become an enduring tradition among our alumni in New York and a place for them to meet up with each other and recapture a bit of their school experience — a kind of homecoming if you will,” she said. ” In 2010 we hosted the largest group of alums, parents and friends since the inception of the event.”

More than 300 former students attended, hearing brief remarks from Dean Larry Benveniste and taking the opportunity to have a photo taken on the historic bell stand, which has become a major icon associated with the exchange and its history.
