Median pay for summer interns from Goizueta’s Full-Time MBA Program rose 3.2 percent between 2009 and 2010 according to a report breaking down intern compensation (chart).

“More valuable is the experience of working in a new industry or a different company. It’s often a chance for a person to use the MBA to transition to something new,” writes John Byrne of the popular business school website, Poets & Quants. “Increasingly, it’s a real tryout for a job. The Poets & Quants report highlights intern pay across top-25 business schools and the pay difference between job functions.
