A graduate of the Goizueta Business School has been recognized for his academic contributions to the marketing field.

Kapil R. Tuli (Marketing) is the winner of the 2016 Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research. He received his Ph.D from Goizueta in 2006 and currently teaches at Singapore Management University. Tuli is one of the first Ph.D graduates of the Goizueta school and is the very first Goizueta graduate to receive tenure.

Tuli was chosen by a group of his peers for his research, which spans topics including marketing strategy, brand strategy, and service excellence. He is highly regarded as a professor and serves on the editorial board of several research journals including the International Journal of Research in Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Research.
