ATLANTA, GA — (February 26, 2020) — Erika H. James, the John H. Harland Dean of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, has accepted the position of dean of the Wharton School and Reliance Professor of Management and Private Enterprise at the University of Pennsylvania, effective July 1.

During her six-year tenure at Goizueta, James sparked a culture of collaboration within the school and the broader university community. She grew the faculty by 25 percent in strategic areas including behavioral science and analytics, launching a master’s of science degree in business analytics in 2017.
