Mitchell will be responsible for all aspects of the Full-Time MBA experience. He will also lead the MBA program office and manage the academic, international and leadership components of the program.

Harold Lewis, a former executive at The Weather Channel, joins an Evening MBA program that has ranked as high as No. 2 in the United States and currently ranks 11th in the nation according to Bloomberg Businessweek. Similar to Mitchell’s role in the Full-Time program, Lewis will be responsible for various aspects of academics and leadership, including the overall student experience.

Mitchell and Lewis earned MBAs at Goizueta.

“We are very excited to add Brian and Harold to the Goizueta staff,” said Dr. Rob Kazanjian, Vice Dean for Programs. “Their professional experience, connections with Atlanta and ties to the school as alumni will be invaluable as we continue to train students to face increasingly complex challenges in the business world.

“Our MBA programs offer leadership training and a wide variety of electives to tailor to most any type of student or interest. The diverse business backgrounds – and success – Brian and Harold have shown in their careers will help us further enrich the student experience. Their addition also marks another step in our strategy for success, adding a full-time role as head of the program offices. ”

Mitchell graduated from Goizueta with an MBA in 2000 and also holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He joined Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 2002 and spent nearly eight years in various marketing and leadership roles. His experience covered brand strategy, research, development and new product launch and implementation.

Lewis spent more than a decade in interactive and traditional media, with much of that experience at The Weather Channel in Atlanta in various business roles. Most recently he served as a Vice President/General Manager at Weather Channel Interactive. He brings experience in social media, strategy, project management, forecasting and e-commerce. Lewis also holds an MBA from Goizueta (1990) and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University. He was a member of the Goizueta Alumni Board from 2007-2011.
