The regional Venture Capital Investment Competition is an annual event where teams from MBA schools in the Southeast have the opportunity assume the role of a venture investor for a day and evaluate different opportunities proposed by real entrepreneurs.

This year, Emory’s team of MBA students came out on top against stiff competition from Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, and Rice.

Team members Jay Nolan, Irfan Kassam, Chad Bennetts, James Watts and Stuart Johnston will go on to represent the Goizueta Business School in the final round at UNC in April.
