Business Educators, LLC (www.businesseducators.com) has announced the launch of its new “A-List of Management Academics,” an honorary list featuring some of the most accomplished and distinguished professors in U.S. academia. This compilation of names has been limited to 30 academics in 2011 and includes professors from the nation’s top business schools.

Goizueta’s Jag Sheth is included on the list.

“Being a phenomenal educator is about more than lecturing in a classroom,” says Dan Hoeyer, founder of Business Educators. “It’s about being able to inspire and engage students while infusing them with seasoned knowledge and insight — whether the topic is strategic management or finance. The A-List of Management Academics is comprised of the academic thought leaders of our time. It is our way of recognizing educator excellence based on their professional accomplishments, renown in their field, and most of all, their dedication to sharing their rich expertise with others.”

Professor Sheth, the Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing, has published more than 200 books and research papers in different areas of marketing and business strategy. He has also worked for numerous industries and companies in the United States, Europe and Asia, both as an Advisor and as a Seminar Leader. Earlier this year he was named “Global Management Guru” by Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) ”for his contributions and thought leadership in the field of management.”

Honorees of the A-List of Management Academics are chosen annually by Business Educators based on their record of outstanding achievements in their respective fields as well as overall public interest.
